So many times we feel we are “stuck in a rut,” doing the same thing day after day and see no way out. The daily responsibilities of family and bills can weigh heavy on our shoulders.
At one time I felt this way, like my day-to-day actions where the same, repeating from week to week, month to month. The only thing different, the date had changed. So what makes some women decide they have had enough, and that there is more to life?
For me what it required to become an entrepreneur was courage. In fact I realized all women entrepreneurs find the courage to step out of the box, and march to the beat of a different drummer.
Recently I was at a conference with other women entrepreneurs and I realized they all had challenges and disappointments. Some had such tremendous difficulties, that I thought how did they possible get through it?
Many had been homeless, and today are extremely successful businesswomen. But for these women they chose to look at their life and circumstances as a way to learn and grow. They all had the courage to build a better life, not only for themselves but also for their family and community.
I have found that every single female entrepreneur has had to have courage.
Courage to choose a new future, to embrace the new and unknown.
To but your heart and soul into a business, to face rejection, ridicule and failure is not for the week at heart. Yet every successful entrepreneur has done it, and courage is what is needed for you to accept new challenges and grow.
I have found the best way to find the courage is to take daily small steps.
It is with the frequent small steps day after day, that build your dream life, your life without limits. Whatever challenge your facing, break it down to a small step.
I have a girlfriend that wanted to loose weight. She figured out she needed to lose 3 ounces a day, 1.3 pounds a week, 5 pounds a month and in 10 months she had lost the 50 ponds that she wanted to lose. Yes, she lost the weight a few years ago and it is still gone. She broke her big goal down to a daily small step. It was the breaking the goal down to the daily small steps that gave her the confidence to challenge her weight goals and be an empowered women.
When you are in a room of women entrepreneurs, you soon realize that they are an impressive group.
They have taken a leap of faith, and had the courage to live their life without limits. Now it’s your turn to find the courage to dream big and live your life your way.
My partner Elena and I are excited to help you live your dream life.
